As the title suggests I focused on popular media-saturated images that appeared in a range of local Durban newspapers. These images shifted from local to global events and shaped our visual perception of images that represented both banal and archetypal events. This drawing in itself becomes a roadmap of looking and documenting five consecutive days of local and international visual events. In a sense, I am curious at how neglectful we have become when we visually witness all of the significance
