 +  2001 - Conceptualization of Amazwi Abesifazane, a creative memory
      recall project committed to developing creative and economic
      autonomy in black South African women. 
 +  1995-2000 - Patron of artist Mr. Tito Zungu (deceased) 
 +  1992-1999 - Patron of street artist Nkosinathi Gumede (deceased) 
 +  1999 - Founder of Create Africa South, a not for profit NGO, committed
      to promoting creativity in South Africa. 
 +  1995 - KwaZulu Natal Teacher Upgrade programme in conjunction with
      Department of Fine Art, Technikon Natal 
 +  1994 - Bheka Phambile, collaboration with Mr Sam Ntshangase to
      create a skills-based creative training programme involving 40 women
      from the Port Shepstone/Hibberdene area. To upgrade skills of women
      to become efficient in the craft and marketing of ceramics (on-going).

      Founder and Director of Phakamani Women's Textile Collaborative
      dedicated to promoting and seeking new initiatives to develop the
      creative entrepreneurship amongst unemployed women. This project
      was later handed over to Mrs. Gem Mellville and developed into a
      leader in textile fabric painting in South Africa.  
 +  1993-1996 - National Arts Coalition (NAC), National Visual Arts
      Chairperson. mandated to co-ordinate a visual arts report on the state
      and vision of creativity in South Africa towards the compiling of a
      proposed National Cultural Policy for the arts to be presented to the
      new Democratic Government in South Africa for consideration. 
 +  1992-1993 - National Arts Initiative (NAI). National visual arts
      representative mandated to compile a national review of cultural
      policy in South Africa towards a new democratic South Africa. 
 +  1992 - Chairman of the second National Sculpture Convention hosted
      by Technikon Natal, Durban, South Africa. 
 +  1984-1986 - Founder and Chairman of Community Arts Workshop,
      (Multi- Disciplinary Creative) dedicated to granting access to
      previously disadvantaged members of the South African Community.
      Forced closure. 
 +  1983-1985 - Café Gallery (Founder/Director) dedicated to providing a
      professional exhibition and marketing space to young emerging South
      African Artists. 
 +  1984 - Patron of artist Selbourne Ntshangase.
