This work was made during the height of the repressive Apartheid State. It is a desperate attempt to curb any responses to the normalisation of political process. I merely reflected on the historical tendency of anxiety, violation and state repression. This tragedy continues to be a metaphor of our so-called civilised value systems. The work makes oblique references to historical and religious metaphors or icons in referencing the universalism of the Apartheid tragedy.
