King Shaka kaSenzangakhona Memorial

Date: 2010
Dimensions: 100% larger than life
Media: Bronze

The sculpture was officially unveiled by the Mr Jacob Zuma, President of the Republic of South Africa on 10 May 2010. Within a month the Zulu King had suggested that the sculpture did not sufficiently convey ferocity and it was, therefore, removed, leaving the rest of the scene (Nguni cattle) on the scene. This matter is yet to be resolved.
