This work was done at the height of the apartheid wars. The animal and human references reflect upon terrifying nuances of human behaviour. The vortex of violence that was sweeping the social text appear to be so incomprehensible that it would have seemed that we were all in a grip of a pervasive insanity. This work attempts to refer to humanity’s preoccupation with and attempt to ritually survive our own chaos.
