Alleenspraak in Paradys

Searching for zones of security at a time of individual and collective upheaval is the subject of this work. The work deconstructs references from the western historical archive and tries to reconfigure these in the African landscape. Searching for this arcadia highlights a sense of isolation and a loss of expected familiar social and cultural references. This work also examines my personal preoccupation with gender stereotyping.
